Extinction Rebellion

Photography and Video

After moving to Bristol, I supported the media & messaging and arts group for Extinction Rebellion Bristol, helping to document local protests that call for environmental justice.

Insure Our Future

Documented moments from the Insure Our Future campaign in Bristol, UK. The campaign aims to send a powerful message to protect future generations by stopping the insurance of all new fossil fuels.

Insuring fossil fuels has a catastrophic impact on the climate, especially for communities in the Global South who have done the least to cause the crisis.

Insure Our Future’s campaign is already having a major impact, with companies starting to pull out of these extractive projects.

A Funeral For Nature

On Saturday 20 April, hundreds of environmental activists descended down the streets of Bath to hold ‘A Funeral For Nature’.

Around 400 people formed a 'Red Rebel' procession through the city on Saturday calling for urgent action to tackle climate change and protect the environment.

With the UK as one of the most nature-depleted countries on earth, this extraordinary visual spectacle highlighted the power of the arts to cut through emotionally and remind us of the urgency of the climate crisis.

Unite To Survive

An estimated 2,000 people attended Extinction Rebellion’s gathering in Victoria Park in Bath for a united cause, listening to speakers and marching across the city to voice concerns to the UK government.

The event was incredibly mobilising, and reflected the importance of collective action amidst global environmental and social injustices.
